Yvette V. Mishev Elevated to Partnership at Novack and Macey LLP

Novack and Macey LLP is pleased to announce that Yvette V. Mishev has been promoted to the position of Partner, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

Co-founding partner Eric Macey noted, “I am extremely pleased to welcome Yvette to Novack and Macey’s partnership. Yvette’s elevation is a result of her exceptional legal skills, collegiality, and dedication to client service.”

Yvette concentrates her practice in commercial litigation. She represents corporate and individual clients throughout all phases of litigation in a wide range of complex disputes including breach of fiduciary duty, shareholder and partnership disputes, breach of contract, fraud, and veil piercing. She is a member of Novack and Macey’s Closely Held Companies practice group, the Women’s Initiatives group, and sits on the firm’s Marketing Committee. Yvette is also a member of the American Bar Association, Litigation Section. 

Yvette received her B.A. (2010) cum laude from DePaul University and her J.D. (2013) summa cum laude from Valparaiso University School of Law. During law school, she served as a judicial extern to Chief Judge Jon E. DeGuilio of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Yvette is admitted to practice in Illinois and Indiana and has been named a Rising Star by Illinois Super Lawyers from 2019 through 2022.
